This place was probably one of the best places I've stayed at during my holidays. the location was awesome, right by a beautiful garden and some really nice restaurants. 🌺

everything was perfect, welcoming staff made our stay great. it was a colonial building, the rooms were big size and absolutely fantastic with an outside bathroom. location: the hotel was just next door to the secret garden, all restaurants are and a taxi.

Secret Garden Villa in Unawatuna is a charming old hotel located in a beautiful beach area. the lush tropical surroundings with greenery and flowers create a peaceful atmosphere. the breakfast served here is simply fantastic, and the rooms are spacious and exquisitely designed. Additionally, its proximity to Monkey View is convenient and offers stunning views.

Activities: The staff at Secret Garden Villa can also arrange for windsurfing, diving, and snorkeling activities to be enjoyed at the nearby beach. I had a thrilling scuba diving adventure, exploring the underwater world with colorful marine life. It was like being in my own personal aquarium!

Maintenance: Some minor issues in the rooms.

The breakfast with toast and homemade jam was fantastic, and the room with an outdoor bathroom and a large bed was delightful.

The hotel had excellent and great breakfasts with juice and toast. the property's location was great, right across the beautiful Unawatuna beach. - the staff was wonderful and lovely.

We truly enjoyed our rooms with an outside bathroom. the location was stunning and marvelous, near the garden and just a short distance from beautiful Unawatuna beach.

Secret Garden Villa - Unawatuna was chosen by my director for our recent business trip, and I must say it was an excellent choice. One of the highlights was the availability of relaxing massages upon request. After a tiring day of meetings, I was able to unwind and rejuvenate with a soothing massage. The spa services provided added a touch of luxury to my stay, ensuring a truly relaxing experience. the guesthouse is smoke-free, which created a clean and fresh environment throughout my stay.

Rooms in the main building were a bit too dark with no window.

Staff arranged thrilling water activities, and safety features were on point. Free WiFi and the lovely garden were a plus. The roundtrip airport shuttle helped a lazy traveler like me.

I just loved having to prepare my own meals in a shared/communal kitchen. Such a delight!

lovely old house with tasteful antiques, amazing gardens, and a yoga dome. Hostess and her son are friendly. Good sushi at son's restaurant. Highly recommend staying here.

the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always making us feel welcome. the breakfast provided was great, and we especially appreciated the kind gesture of the Swiss owner giving us chocolates and homemade biscuits for Christmas.

It was incredibly dark and lacked natural light and fresh air.

The rooms at Secret Garden Villa are tastefully furnished and clean. I felt really comfortable and at home in my room. I loved that the Sri Lankan-style guestrooms are fully air-conditioned. It was such a relief to come back to a cool room after a day of exploring. The twin room had everything I needed, including a private entrance and a nice tile/marble floor. It felt cozy and welcoming. The bungalow was great with its own private entrance and a convenient tea/coffee maker. I enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere. The suite had a private entrance and a lovely tile/marble floor. I instantly fell in love with the stylish and comfortable design.

Personally, I found the shared kitchen area slightly small. However, others might still find it sufficient.
